The front desk staff was lovely. Upon check-in, the gentleman spent 15 minutes showing me the ins and outs of Venice. He recommended out of the way restaurants that aren't usually visited by tourists (the food was superb) and kindly answered my questions and then he carried my luggage upstairs for me as there isn't a lift. Breakfast was wonderful...croissants, yogurts, cappuccino. The room was small but immaculate and the private bath was wonderful. My last day, I left my luggage at the hotel and was able to come and go during that day. The evening clerk even shared his pizza with me along with fascinating conversation. highly recommended!
The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. They pointed out good and reasonably priced restaurants and tours. The hotel is a typical European 3 star hotel, no frills, but clean.
Travelling alone, I have never felt so uncomfortable as my second night at Hotel Eden. I came back to my room at 11pm to find that all of my belongings had been taken from the room and moved to another room with no warning and without my permission. When I complained to the manager in the morning (the night reception referred me to him), he essentially laughed in my face telling me to deal with it or I could leave. I've never experienced such a violation of privacy! Do NOT stay here if you value your belongings or your privacy!
Staff were very helpful and pleasant. The room was adequate and functional for a city break. The hotel is in a great location, not too far from the train station or the bus/coach stops in Roma Square and all the points of interest are within 15-20 min walk.
Rooms are a little basic and in need of a spruce-up and the breakfast was not much to write home about but we didn’t spend time in the hotel, so it wasn’t too much of an issue - get what you pay for!
Thanks for the great kindness of the staffs, I could enjoy the time in this hotel. I wanna stay here again ;-)
The map put in this Booked.net website was not correct, so I had a big trouble finding it.
Very friendly staff.Convenient postion to cover Venice.Rooms small yet comfortable.
The front desk staff (Itallian gentleman who is there during the day) is very friendly and helpfull. He was even kind enough not to charge for wifi.
The breakfast needs to improve . The variety was really little
As a party of four we all found the hotel to be just what we wanted for a visit to Venice. The location was good, staff friendly & helpful, & any requests we made were dealt with immediately. Because Hotel Eden is small, the range of items for breakfast was limited but everything was of good quality & was continually topped up. Excellent coffee!! In a city like Venice which is not cheap Hotel Eden was really good value for money. We would all return & would recommend it to others.
We had 2 bedrooms one of which (a twin room) was spacious but the other (a double) was very small. However it was clear from the hotel website that rooms did vary in size & that some were small.
This place is close to the ferry station.
There isn't any elevator and the room is quite small for the price.
We had a window over looking a side canal, there was a nice breakfast room and sitting room in the entryway, and the day staff were very friendly and helpful. They also have inexpensive internet access, which was convenient for checking into our outgoing flight. The hotel is in a good location, and close to a lot of shops that have lower prices than what you find around St. Marks Square.
The room was quite tight. We had barely enough room for our bags in the room. One only fit behind the door and we couldn't open it all the way to get in. The hotel is hard to find. They have a sign up, but it is not on the main street so it is hard to spot. Map the location before you go and be on the lookout, as it would be easy to miss.
This hotel locates rather suitable for traveling - just 15 minutes walking to Railway Station and 15 minutes walking to Rialto Bridge. It looks very nice, it is small, quiet and overlooks the small yard. The windiws of our room opened on the chanal. The staff of the hotel are very friendly and helpfull. The reception works 24 hours.
There are three of us. The snooms are rather small and don't comfortable for three-place accomodation.
